We'd love to hear from you — questions, feedback, or just a hello
Whether you've found a bug in a calculator, want to suggest a new tool, or have a content partnership idea — we read every message and respond to each one personally.
In the meantime, you might find an answer in our FAQ section below.
Our calculators use the standard reducing-balance formula used across all Indian banks — and results should match your lender's to within ₹1–5 per month due to rounding. Larger differences usually arise from: your lender using a different disbursement date, processing fees included in the financed amount, insurance premiums bundled with the loan, or a GST charge the calculator doesn't include. Always ask your lender for their official amortization schedule to verify the exact figures before signing.
We update the default interest rate values in our calculators when major rate changes are announced — for example, when RBI revises the repo rate, or when EPFO/government revises EPF/PPF rates. However, actual market rates from your specific lender may differ. For loan calculators, always enter the exact rate from your lender's offer letter. For EPF and PPF calculators, we note the rate currently used and the date it was last confirmed. If you believe a rate is outdated, please email support@vittarthi.com with the correct current rate and a source link.
No — Vita₹thi is strictly an educational platform. We are not registered with SEBI, IRDAI, or any other financial regulatory authority, and we do not provide investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of regulated financial guidance. Our calculators give you numbers to help you understand a decision — but the decision itself, and advice tailored to your specific situation, should come from a qualified professional (SEBI-registered investment adviser, Chartered Accountant, etc.). We can't make specific recommendations via email either — for the same reason.
Please report it! We take accuracy seriously and investigate every bug report. When you write to us, include: the name of the calculator, the exact inputs you used (loan amount, rate, tenure etc.), the result the calculator showed, and what result you expected or got from an official source. Send it to support@vittarthi.com with subject "Bug Report" or use the form above with "Bug / Error Report" selected. Bug reports receive priority and we typically respond within 24 hours.
Our calculators are currently only available directly on vittarthi.com. Embedding them on external sites is not available as a self-serve feature at this time. If you have a specific partnership or integration proposal — for example, a financial news site, HR platform, or educational institution — please reach out to legal@vittarthi.com with details about your use case. We evaluate embed requests on a case-by-case basis. Linking to any of our calculator pages is always welcome and doesn't require permission.
If you've contacted us via a form or email, or if you've created an account, you can request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@vittarthi.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account or correspondence. We will process deletion requests within 30 days under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Note: if you've only used our calculators without submitting any form or creating an account, we hold no personal data about you — calculator inputs are never transmitted to our servers.
We're open to well-researched, original contributions on Indian personal finance topics — particularly if you have professional expertise in investments, taxation, or financial planning. Guest contributions are not paid, but credited with your name and bio. To pitch, email support@vittarthi.com with "Guest Article Proposal" in the subject line, a 2–3 sentence summary of what you'd like to write, your professional background, and any previous writing samples. We review all pitches but cannot guarantee a response to every submission.
Vita₹thi is currently a small, independent project. We aren't hiring full-time at the moment, but we occasionally work with freelance writers, developers, and designers on specific projects. If you're passionate about financial literacy, are skilled in web development or personal finance content, and would like to contribute — email support@vittarthi.com with a brief introduction and what you'd like to work on. We keep these on file and reach out when relevant opportunities arise.
